Throughout the game, the player will encounter various items that can be enchanted including weapons, armor, jewelry, arrows, wands, etc. You can get various people (typically Magic Shop owners) that are skilled at magic to enchant items for a price, or you can enchant them yourself if you have a high Environment Magic skill.
There are various enchantments that you can apply to items, but some can only be applied to certain items. The number of effects and the power of them is limited by the available enchant storage which is affected by the enchanter's abilities and the max storage of the item.

Note Edit
All enchantments increase linearly (1-15, 2-30, 3-45, etc.) HOWEVER, the damage enchantments increase quadratically
(it costs more and more per value as it increases). Below is the functions used to determine the storage cost(S) at any damage level (d). Take note that the damage level goes up to 50, but you can have multiple 'slots'.
- Damage Base: $ S=0.25\,d^{2}+6x+50 $
- Damage Type: $ S=1\!/\!3d^{2}+8x+50 $
- Damage All: $ S=0.5\,d^{2}+10x+50 $
To get the most damage per storage, use value increments of 10 (instead of using +50 damage, use +10 +10 +10 +10 +10; it will save you lots of storage)
